Dear Nomads,

We have been invited to participate in a 4 team Round-Robin 11-a-side tourney hosted by ‘Sofia Celtic’. ‘Bucharest Nomads’ and ‘Yugo Belgrade’ will be the other 2 teams participating.

The format will be a round robin tournament with each team playing 3 x 40 min games (20 mins per half), so an overall playing time of 120 mins per team. There will be 1 referee and 2 linesmen.

Starting at 14:00 and ending around 18:45.

Cost: TBC, but 12 EURO per player is approximated.

Squad Size: No limit, however, members will be prioritised.

    As the tournament is coming up on Saturday, few last minute words from me.
    I suggest we all meet latest 14.00, we can watch the opening game, sort out kits, get to know each other (for some of us), preference for positions etc.

    Tournament schedule is as above. Cost per player is 12 Euros to conver pitch, referees, doctor, etc.
    Bring your own refreshments & water.
    Nomads play in their Blue kit – try for blue shirt, shorts and socks if possible (not mandatory, I won’t be checking socks personally!)
    Astro-turf – so no full studded boots allowed. (pitch rules, not mine – they will be checking!)
    We have a squad of 20 so there will be rotation and rolling subs. Game time will be split between ALL players irrespective of ability. (it’s a social club afterall). If you don’t like that, dont come. Simple.
    I’ll be Nomads Manager for the day and the Moderators will help out with calling subs, etc.

    After party booked in the Grumpy Dwarf pub in Central Sofia. Everyone welcome – the guys travelling up from Serbia and Romania have already confirmed.

    • Bit of Fergie man management – any player that arrives after the 14.00 deadline becomes ineligible for the starting team.

      But will play in later games obviously.
