Dear Nomads,
As a warm-up to our Annual Nomads Xmas Party (14th Dec), on Saturday 7th Dec 2019 we’ll host a Nomads 6-A-Side Xmas Tournament.
TOURNAMENT DETAILS:
Location: Mladost (both pitches)
Time: 11:00 – 13:00 – please arrive no later than 10:45 so that we can start on time!
Format: 4 teams, round-robin, 3 x 30 min matches each
Cost: BGN 10 per player (club covers the extra pitch costs)
Spaces: 28 players max (6-a-side, 7 players per team)
Cancellation Deadline: 13:00 (1pm) on Thursday 5 Dec 2019
After-Party: Club will provide 1 x beer per player & a few pizzas for all to share
TEAMS: Will be announced Thursday evening/Friday morning… Stay tuned!
As always, there will be a competitive element to the tournament, but the main focus is on having a great time, both on & off the pitch!.. See you there! 🙂

Maksat told me last night he’s now not going to be in the country till early next year.
I asked him to cancel his registration, but looks like he probably won’t……so please consider him off the list.

Deadline for dropping out is 1pm on Thursday 5th Dec (tomorrow)… If you need/are considering to drop out, please do so before the deadline – the teams will be made shortly after, and any squad changes means re-doing teams, so please NO DROP-OUTS after deadline!

Additional notes:
– Please arrive no later that 10:45am so that we can start on time
– Please pay the 10 lev match fee to your team captain
– Captains are responsible for organising & ensuring:
– 12 mins per player as a sub (equal for all)
– 12 mins per player as GK (equal for all, unless a player wishes to play longer in goal)
*Instead of a pointless trophy that only 1 person can take home, or worse yet a bunch or crappy medals that get tossed in the back of a cupboard never to be seen again, winning team will get additional free beers!

If you could also pay for the Christmas party tomorrow (of course, if you’re planning on going and/or your name is on the list) it’d be great. You can give the money to Adam or me.
The money we’re collecting is to ensure the numbers and make the organisation easier as we had to make some arrangements with the venue.
It’ll be given back to you in the form of drink tokens to be used during the party.
